"I can do all thing through Him who gives me strengh". That´s the bible verse that Corvaillis, OR team taught to the kids at the Agita past week. And with such a busy schedule and so much to do that´s was the verse that we (adults) had to relly on!!! On Thrusday 12th  my english students graduated, after 4 years studying Enligsh with me, more than learning a language I was able to share myself to them and some of them got involved with the ministry. "Posso todas as coisas naquele que me fortalece". Esse foi o versículo que o time de Corvalis (Oregon) ensinaram para as crianças na semana retrasada. E com uma agenda tão cheia e tantas coisas para fazer que esse foi o versículo que nós (os adultos) tivemos que nos apoiar!!! Na quinta dia 12 meus alunos de inglês se formaram, depois de 4 anos estudando Inglês comigo, mais do que uma lingua eu pude me doar para eles e alguns deles acabaram se involvendo no ministério.

The cerimony was beautiful and very emotional! All the students made homage for me and I was delighted! Even 3 students who graduated 2 years ago showed up and said some beautiful words! I only was able to accomplished it because HE gave me strengh, I couldn´t have done it without Him! One of my students is getting baptized tomorrow!!!  A cerimônia foi linda e muito emotiva!!! Todos os estudantes fizeram uma homenagem para mim e eu gostei muito. Até mesmo 3 alunos que se formaram 2 anso atrás apareceram e disseram linda palavras! Eu só pude realizar isso porque Ele me deu força, eu não poderia ter feito isso sem Deus!!! Uma das minhas alunas se batizou na mesma semana!



Also, the Christmas Lunch was great! Since it is the first time we find sponsors for kids, it was very hard, a A LOT of work, but it turned out good! At the end I thanked one of children´s mom, Ana Paula, who came to help us out during the event and her words broke my heart, and then all hard work became nothing when I heard: "Thank you guys for doing all this for our children, I was so worried how I was going to get new clothing and toys for my children this Christmas, my husband it´s unployed and I was laid off from work because someone told my boss I am from favela and my husband is a drug dealer, you know Tati that he isn´t true...(I know her, we visit her family and they are a very good family and they are not involed with those things at all). O Almoço de Natal foi maravilhoso! Foi a primeira vez que fizemos campanha para apadrinhar as crianças, então foi muito trabalhpo, MUITO mesmo, mas no final deu tudo certo! No fim eu agradeci uma das mães da criança, Ana Paula, que veio nos ajudar durante o evento e as palavras delas quebraram meu coração, e então todo trabalho duro se tornou nada quando eu ouvi: "Obrigada vocês por fazer isso tudo para nossos filhos, eu estava tão preocupada como eu iria conseguir roupa nova e brinquedo para meus filhos nesse Natal, mey marido está desempregado e eu fui despedida do trabalho porque alguém disse para minha patroa que eu sou da favela e meu marido é traficante, võcê sabe Tati qye isso não é verdade...(Eu conheço ela, nós visitamos a familia dela e eles são uma boa família e eles não estão envolvidos com essas coisas de maneira nenhuma).

Me, her and Priscila (William´s wife) all cryed and hug each other! Through Christ we can do all things, even things we have no idea that we could!!! Eu, ela e Priscila (esposa do William) todas choramos e nos abraçamos! Através de Cristo nós podemos fazer todas as coisas, mesmo coisas que nós não fazíamos de idéia que poderíamos!!!

Prayers Request! Pedidos de Orações!

As the end of year aprouches, busier it gets! We will have a lot to accomplish next week and I´d like to ask your prayers.
Conforme chega o fim do ano, as coisas ficam mais corridas! Nós teremos muito para realizar na semana que vem e eu gostaria de pedir suas orações.

Pray for CorvallisTeam, next Friday we will be hosting for 10 days they arefrom OR, pray for our health, safety, discerniment and lots of energy for all the projects we will do together:
 Ore pelo time de Corvallis, na próxima sexta nós vamos recebê-los por 10 dias, eles são de Oregon, ore por saúde, segurança, discernimento e muita energia para todos os projetos que vamos fazer juntos:

Teens Camp - We are taking 50 teenagers to Camp California, it means a lot for them once it will be the closing event for the programs they joined througout the year at the city, named Teens Art Club.
Acampamento dos Teens - Nós estamos levando 50 adolescentes para o camp California, isso significa muito para eles uma vez que esse camp será o encerramento dos Teens Art Club.

English Graduation - I´m teaching English for 4 years for  couple students, they are finally graduating. They will do a beautiful play with skit and singing, Wellington has been practicing with them, it is a evangelistic play and all their families will be here. It will be on Dec 16th. There will be around 80 people at this event. Formatura do Inglês - Eu estou ensinando Inglês para algumas crianças, e eles finalmente vão se formar. Eles vão fazer uma linda apresentação com peçae música,  oWellington está ensaiando com eles, é uma peça evangelística and todos os familiares deles estarão aqui.

Sharing Christmas - We are finding sponsors to give nice Christmas gifts for our kids this year. We started for only 500 kids and right now we have got for 670!!! Praise the Lord we are being able to attend all of our kids! We will do a big Lunch on Dec 18th. As our space doesn´t fit all of them, we will do this in 2 different places, half of the kids will come to the Day Center and the other half to a public school in Promorar. We will have a ventriloquist, a delicious lunch and hand out the gifts.
Natal Solidário - Nós estamos encontrando padrinhos para dar um bom presente de Natal para nossas crianças. Nós começamos a campanha para só 500 crianças e  até agora nós conseguimos para 670!!! Glória a Deus que nós estamos conseguindo atender todas as nossas crianças! Nós faremos um grande almoço em 18 de Dez. Como nosso espaço não cabe todas as crianças, nós faremos a festa em dois luigares diferentes, metade das crianças virão para o Day Center e a outra metade para uma escola no Promorar. Nós temoremos um ventriloco, um almoço delicioso e a entrega  dos presentes.

Young Adults Special Meeting - Pr Tom Ramsay leads a program named Acts 2 42 with his ollege students, long ago I got the chance to attend it up there and I brought and adapted to our church, once a month we meet and also name it Acts 2 42. Our church got a lot young adults and lately we have been trying to meet them with fun times and bible studies. We asked Pr Tom to lead Acts 2 42 down here on Dec 14th.
Pr Tom RAmsay lidera um programa chamado Atos 2 42 , muito tempo atras eu tive a oportunidade de participar desse progrma nos EUA e eu trouxe e adaptei aqui na nossa igreja, uma vez por mês nós reunimos nossos jovens para um tempo de diversão e estudo bíblico. Nós pedimos ao Pr Tom liderar o atos 2 42 aqui na terça dia 14 de Dez.

God is Faithful! Deus é Fiel!!!

Yesterday, me, Wellington, Adesia (my mom), Marcelo (Chocolate) and Pamela were about to start Agita Program as we do every other week on Fridays and had such a lovely surprise!!! Ontem, eu, o Wellington, Adesia (minha mãe), Marcelo (Chocolate) e a Pamela estavamos para começar o Programa Agita as sextas feiras á cada quinze dias no Sapopemba e tivemos uma surpresa amável!!!

The children´s parents did a surprise for us! They hired a service to do a homage for us! First, the stepdad of 2 girls who does Bible study with me sang a worship named "Dê o seu melhor" (Give you best), from Raiz Coral and then they asked for all of us go up in the street and there were a sound car and the lady read such a beautiful words for us, gave us flowers, the moms thanked us for what we do for their children and fireworks burst!!! As mães das crianças fizeram uma surpresa para nós!!! Elas contrataram um carro de mensagem para nos homenagear! Primeiro, o padrasto de duas das meninas que eu faço estudo biblico cantou uma música do Raiz Coral, Dê o seu melhor e depois eles pediram para a gente subir até a rua e o carro de som estava lá, eles leram uma homenagem muito bonita, nos deram flores, as mães nos agradeceram pelo o que nós fazemos para seus filhos e estouraram fogos!!!

The most pleasant for me was to hear: "we appreciate what you guys do for our children because you are teaching God´s word for them, wich will make a difference in their character and help them to have a better future". I felt so honored to hear that, not because of the homage and because people were reconizing the work we have done there, but to know that the simple recreation and home visits we do there by God´s grace isn´t in vain,  the Lord is working deeply in those kids life. What they learn there, it´s been planted in their hearts and some how they will use it in their life! Their broken families already has reconized it! God´s awesome! Praise the Lord!!!O momento mais gratificante foi ouvir: "nós apreciamos o que vocês fazem pelos nossos filhos porque vocês estão ensinando a palavra de Deus para eles, o que fará a diferença na formação do caráter deles e ajudá-los a terem um futuro melhor". Eu me senti tão honrado de ouvir isso, não por causa da homenagem em si e porque as pessoas estava mreconhecendo o trabalho que temos feito lá, mas por saber que uma simples recreação e visitas que fazemos lá pela graça de Deus não é em vão, o Senhor está trabalhando profundamente na vida daquelas crianças. O que eles aprendem lá, esta sendo plantado no coração deles e de alguma forma eles vão usar isto na vida deles. Mesmos seus familiares reconhecem isso! Deus é maravilhoso! Glória a Deus!!!

I have been involved with Restoration Ministries since I was a child. When I look back today, what is most exciting is that now I´m able to do for the children of Restoration Ministries what Jesus and his people did for me. Eu estou envolvida com o Ministério Restauração desde criança. Hoje, quando eu olho para traz, o mais legal é que agora eu posso fazer pelas crianças do Ministério o que Jesus e seu povo fez por mim.

When I was 21 years old I felt God calling me to work for Him full time. I got worried because I was concerned about my future, my career and how I would be able to support myself and my family - yes, my family, because of my background and the criminal circumstances in which I was raised, I always studied hard because I wanted to make sure I would have a good and stable professional career in order to change the future and circunstances of my family. Quando eu tinha 21 anos eu senti Deus me chamando para trabalhar tempo integral no ministério. Eu fiquei apavorada proque eu estava me preocupando com meu futuro, minha carreira e como eu poderia sustentar eu e minha família - sim, minha família, porque eu queria mudar o passado e as cricunstâncias da vida na qual eu fui criada, eu sempre estudei muito porque eu queria ter certeza que eu teria uma boa  es´tável carreira profissional para que eu pudesse mudar o futuro e as cricunstâncias da minha familia.

I wanted to ensure a different life style for us. I argued with God saying I can´t garantee that working full time in a ministry! There I won´t grow professionally anywhere!!! I was wrong. Eu queria assegurar um estilo de vida diferente para nós. Eu questionei Deus dizendo á Ele, eu não posso garantir isso trabalhando em tempo integral em um minsitério! Lá não crescerei profissionalmente em canto nenhum! Eu estava errada.

But one afternoon, in a hike promoted by Arcade Church youth group, God spoke to me in an amazing way using His word, birds, sky, clouds and trees.  Mas, em uma tarde, em umacaminhada promovida pelo grupo de jovens da Igreja Arcade, Deus falou comigo de uma maneira maravailhosa usando a Palavra D´Ele, pássaros, céu, árvores e nuvens.

The passage was Mathew 6:25-34: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t there more to life than food and more to the body than clothing? Look at the birds in the sky: They do not sow, or reap, or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you more valuable than they are? And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life? Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these! And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, won’t he clothe you even more, you people of little faith? So then, don’t worry saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For the unconverted pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own". A passagem bílblica era: Por isso vos digo: Não andeis cuidadosos quanto à vossa vida, pelo que haveis de comer ou pelo que haveis de beber; nem quanto ao vosso corpo, pelo que haveis de vestir. Não é a vida mais do que o mantimento, e o corpo mais do que o vestuário?Olhai para as aves do céu, que nem semeiam, nem segam, nem ajuntam em celeiros; e vosso Pai celestial as alimenta. Não tendes vós muito mais valor do que elas?E qual de vós poderá, com todos os seus cuidados, acrescentar um côvado à sua estatura?E, quanto ao vestuário, por que andais solícitos? Olhai para os lírios do campo, como eles crescem; não trabalham nem fiam;E eu vos digo que nem mesmo Salomão, em toda a sua glória, se vestiu como qualquer deles.Pois, se Deus assim veste a erva do campo, que hoje existe, e amanhã é lançada no forno, não vos vestirá muito mais a vós, homens de pouca fé?Não andeis, pois, inquietos, dizendo: Que comeremos, ou que beberemos, ou com que nos vestiremos?(Porque todas estas coisas os gentios procuram). De certo vosso Pai celestial bem sabe que necessitais de todas estas coisas;Mas, buscai primeiro o reino de Deus, e a sua justiça, e todas estas coisas vos serão acrescentadas.Não vos inquieteis, pois, pelo dia amanhã, porque o dia de amanhã cuidará de si mesmo. Basta a cada dia o seu mal.It was an amazing day and I really felt God calling me to a commitment at Restoration Ministries. So I said yes! Throughout this 8 years I have grown a lot spiritually, personally and professionally!!! God provided everything! Foi um dia maravilhosos e eu senti de verdade Deus me chamando para um compromisso no Ministério Restauração. Então eu disse sim! Em todos esses 8 anos eu tenho crescido muito, espiritualmente, enquanto pessoa e profissionalmente! Deus proveu tudo!

 
But as an ordinary human being, I started doubting again... Lord, I´ve been serving, getting a lot done, but what else you have for me? I confess, I questioned a little bit. That was when I realized (with the Holy Spirit intervening, of course!) that God´s work isn´t only about how much you get accomplished but how you get things accomplished with people. Mas sendo uma ser humano normal, eu comecei a duvidar novamente...Senhor, eu tenho te servido, feito muitas coisas, mas o que mais o Senhor tem para mim? Eu confesso, eu questionei um pouco. Foi aí então que eu me dei conta (é claro que através da intervenção do Espirito Santo) que o trabalho de Deus não tem haver com quantas coisas você faz mas COMO você faz as coisas com as pessoas.

Working with Restoration Ministries isn´t just work for me, it is actually doing missions, being able to do it on my own culture and enviroment!! My background of trying to strive and endeavoring that before motivated me to seek change, now I also use primaly as a testimony to God´s glory and associate with children who have a similar life. Para mim, trabalhar no Ministério Restauração não é só trabalhar, é naverdade fazer missões, poder fazer isso no meu próprio entorno e cultura!!! Meu passado que antes me motivava a mudar, hoje eu uso em primeiro lugar como um testemunho da glória de Deus e com isso posso me associar com as crianças que tem uma vida parecida.

Proverbs 22:6 is a true reality in my own life that I want to keep seeing being repeated in the lives of the kids that God gives to us: "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it". Provérbios 22:6 é uma realidade na minha própria vida que eu quero continuar a ver ser repetida na vida das crianças que Deus tem nos dado: "Educa a criança no caminho em que deve andar; e até quando envelhecer não se desviará dele."

Personally, being part of World Venture as an IPM just confirms to me what God has called me to: I am to do missions. Para mim, ser parte da missão World Venture como IPM (parceria internacional de missionário) só me confirma para o que Deus tem me chamado: Fazer missões.

Hello Everyone! Oie pra todos!

I'm really thankful for all of your prayers! Eu estou agradecida por todas as orações!

I am so glad that God can use me as His instrument! All new groups I'm involed in are doing well, I'm doing some volunteer trainning, tutoring 2 individuals in English, one of them is Leticia, a 15 yers old from Iguatemi, also teaching English for the staff and some volunteers once a week and leading a Bible Study at Sapopemba community, two girls are comming, Tauane and Camila.

Eu estou muito contente que Deus pode me usar como instrumento Dele! Todos os novos grupos que estou envolvida estão indo bem, estou fazendo alguns treinamentos de voluntariado, ensinando inglês para dois individuos, um deles é a Leticia, uma garota de 15 anos do Iguatemi, e também ensinando inglês para o staff e voluntarios uma vez por semana, e liderando um estudo biblico no Sapopemba, duas garotas estão vindo, Tatuane e Camila.

Please I really appreciate your prayers for all those groups. Asking for knolodge, wisdon, discerniment and encouragement for all of them!

Por favor eu aprecio suas orações por todos esses grupos. Pedindo por conhecimento, sabedoria, dicernimento e encoragamento para todos eles!

I´m back! Estou de volta!

It´s been a long time I don´t post anything. Two days after I got back from Philipines we lost my niece Rapahelly. Since then, I haven´t post nothing else in my blog. I´d like to thank you all who were praying for her and prayed for my family afterwards. I really appreciate it.

Tem se passado bastante tempo desde que eu não postei mais nada no meu blog. Dois dias depois que eu chegeui das Filipinas nós perdemos minha sobrinha, Raphaelly. Desde dentão eu não postei mais nada. Eu gostaria de agradecer a todos vocês que oraram por ela e pela minha familia. Eu realmente aprecio isso.

I still aks prayers for her mom (Thais) and my family. We are still greeving, but I have realized that that´s life, we will suffer, loose, gain, etc. Everything will only get better when the New Jerusalem come and we all live in felowship with our Father!

Eu ainda peço oração pela mãe dela (Thais) e pela minha familia. Nós ainda estamos sofrendo, mas eu tenho me dado conta que é assim que éa vida, nós vamos sofrer, perder, ganhar, etc. Tudo só vai ser melhor quando a Nova Jerusalém vier e nós todos vivermos em comunhão com o Pai!

I´d like to share with you in my blog my challenges and joyful things about my ministry, so I can count you on prayers and keep you update about what we are doing down here in Brazil!
Eu gostaria de compartilhar com vocês no meu blog meus desafios e alegrias em meu ministério, para que eu possa contar com vocês em oração.

Right now, I will start some trainning with some volunteers and also get into discipleship. Please pray that the Holy Spirit touch and teaches what He wants to those hearts that I will minister.
Agora, começarei alguns treinamentos para alguns voluntários e também discipulado. Por favor ore para que o Espirito Santo toque e ensine o que Ele quer para esses corações que eu vou ministrar.

I have decided also to invest in some more people lives teaching English. It means a lot in bBrazil, a foreing language course it´s expensive down here, people who speaks English can get better jobs, besides speaking English is really helpful in our ministry. Pray for those people, so they can learn the language.
